COVID-19 GUIDELINES & POLICIES

COVID-19 GUIDELINES:

We are working diligently to keep the studio clean and safe for our students and families, which includes offering online class options, cleaning studios and props after each use, and keeping our student to teacher ratios low. If you have any questions or concerns please e-mail the studio directly at or call our office with your concerns.  The health and well being of our students and their families is our top priority. PROTOCOLS:

• Dancers coming into the studio should come into the studio dressed and ready to dance.  The Break/Changing room will remain CLOSED at this time. The microwave and fridge use are not available at this time.

• Masks should be worn upon entering the studio, and remain on until you are in your assigned dance room.

• Hands should be sanitized upon entering the dance studio using the Hand Sanitizer Station by the entrance of the Studio.

• Upon entering the dance room, change your shoes, find a spot in the marked grid on the floor, once you are in your spot you may remove your mask if you choose.

  • Dancers may keep face masks on for dancing, this is optional for all dancers.

  • Face Masks must be worn when leaving the dance room to use the bathroom or to exit the studio.

• Breaks – Dancers will exit the dance rooms during two 15 minute breaks to allow the dance rooms to be cleaned. During this time the dancers will be spread out at least 6 feet and allowed to have a drink / snack.   Masks must be worn until seated.

  • Hand Sanitization is required upon Exiting and Entering All Dance Rooms!

• Rest Room – mask must be on and hands must be sanitized upon exiting the dance room before heading to use the rest room.  Only 1 person may use the rest room at a time.  Small Bathroom stall will be for Faculty and Big Bathroom stall will be for dancers only!

  • After flushing any toilet, the toilet seat must be wiped down with a Sanitizing wipe.  DO NOT FLUSH THE WIPE.  Use the wipe to exit the bathroom stall and throw the wipe IN THE TRASH by the sink. 

  • Wash your hands with soap and return to your assigned dance room. 

  • Before entering the dance room, Sanitize your hands using Hand Sanitizer.

 

ENTERING/EXITING STUDIO:

• Masks must be worn in all hallways and upon walking in/out of the studio

• Students should exit classroom and file out of the exit in a single file line, spaced apart to allow for appropriate social distancing.

• Studio A dancers will exit through the front door and Studio B dancers will exit through the side door to minimize “clustering” in the hallway between studios while exiting the dance rooms.

• No families or siblings will be allowed in the studio. Children under 5 years of age will be allowed to have one parent/guardian come into the studio for drop off and pick up only.
